The camera also houses the upgraded BIONZ X image processor and a front-end LSI that helps to maximise processing speed and produce the best results. Along with it is the fast and efficient Fast Hybrid AF system, featuring 315 points of phase detection on the sensor that is claimed to focus as low as 0.03 seconds. The Eye AF technology is also included with approximately 2x the tracking performance as compared to the previous models. The camera also allows LCD touch focusing and touchpad focus point control for users who would like to drag their fingers to their ideal choice of focus points.
This pocket-friendly camera is packed with a range of video capabilities that will keep even the most demanding video enthusiasts happy. In its 4K mode, the new RX100 Mark 6 utilises a full pixel readout of the image sensor without pixel binning, ensuring that all the finer details of the 4K video content are captured with minimal moire and ‘jaggies’ effects. And for the first time in a CyberShot camera, the RX100 VI features 4K HDR, thanks to the new HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) picture profile for instant HDR workflow.
