Nikon MEA Officially Launches the Nikon Z7 Full-Frame Mirror-Less Camera In The UAE

At the Za’abeel Studio in Dubai, UAE, Nikon Middle East has officially unveiled their first ever mirrorless full-frame camera as a part of their Z series, called the Nikon Z7 that’s aimed for those who wants the finest of Nikon engineering for the best photography experience. The Nikon Z7 is not meant to be a replacement of the popular Nikon D850, rather, a different experience that gives professionals the ability to carry lighter cameras with great specifications.

Narendra Menon, Managing Director, Nikon Middle East FZE commented, “The Z series is a product of great research and thought. We wanted to create a product that would become an ally and work as diligently as our photographers do. Z series has been designed to give photographers an ease in operation with the finest that Nikon has to offer in camera technology.” The buyers of Z series will have an advantage with Nikon Premier Member program (NPM), getting a chance to explore the excellent optical output facilitated by the entire Z series. Narendra added, “Through NPM program the possessors of mirrorless Z series will be able to explore our finest engineering under the supervision of Nikon’s trained photographers at the photography excursions.”

The Nikon Z7 is the first ever FX-format based mirrorless camera with high megapixels that goes up to 45.7, is comprised of the latest state-of-the-art technologies. And as compared to the D850, the Nikon Z7 comes with 5-axis image stabilization to avoid shakes and blurs while recording videos or capturing images. The camera comes with 493 focal points that cover 90% of the image sensor area. The new EXPEED 6 image processor helps to deliver more clear and brilliant pictures with less noise. The continuous burst mode can go up to 9 fps so you don’t miss a moment. Another feature that we have seen before is the silent shooting that’s very useful for wildlife photographers.

The Nikon Z7 features an electronic OLED viewfinder that features 3.69 million dots of resolution, along with 0.8x of magnification. One more thing is that the Nikon Z7 and the new Z series is based on a new mount and will have its own range of Z series lenses. And for those who already own the current Nikkor line-up of lenses for their regular Nikon DSLRs, the company has also provided an FTZ adapter for lens compatibility with Z series cameras. Nikon has introduced several new lenses, including the 35mm Z series with F1.8 aperture, a 50mm with F1.8 and a 24-70 4 S zoom lens. Nikon also announced their plans to expand their Z-series lens line-up and one of them included the 58mm Z-Noct Prime lens with an amazing F 0.95 as the aperture.

Other features of the Nikon Z7 includes a new XQD slot instead of an SD card slot. The Nikon Z7 weighs about 675g with battery. Speaking of which, the Z7 can last for about 330 shots. While the availability is yet to be announced, officials had confirmed that the product will be available for pre-orders later next month. The estimated prices are AED 12999 for only the Z7 body-only, AED 13699 with the camera and the adapter, and AED 15999 for the Z7 camera, adapter, and the 24-70 4S lens.
