Samsung Gulf Electronics has introduced a new trade-in offer where customers can exchange their old smartphone for a brand new Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ in Dubai, UAE.
Customers can trade-in selected models at any participating retailers, such as Axiom Telecom, Eros, SharafDG and Jumbo, as well as online from Souq.com. The trade-ins will be evaluated based on the condition of the phone and will be categorized into two set of grades, Grade A and Grade B. Needless to say, the better the condition of your phone is, the better the cashback you receive towards the purchase of the Galaxy S8.
“We believe that all our customers should have the chance to own the latest Galaxy S8 / S8+ and be part of the future of smartphones technology,” said Tarek Sabbagh, Head of IT and Mobile division at Samsung Gulf Electronics. “By introducing the trade-in program, we are ensuring that they can benefit from incredible, first to market technologies through a convenient, simple and added-value process. ”

Axiom Telecom is also providing a handy grade calculator which gives you a rough estimate on the trade-in cashback. Currently, the site is only evaluating smartphones from Apple (iPhone 6 through iPhone 7), Samsung (all models of Galaxy S6, S7 and Note 5), and Huawei (Mate 8, Mate 9 and Honor 8).
